Dr. Wu was born in New York City, but while completing his pediatric residency training in Portland, Oregon, he became attracted to the Pacific Northwest and decided to settle here.  He likes active sports, hiking, tennis, and basketball, but also plays the piano, reads science fiction, and works with computers.
